Death popped up in my Google Music today. The perfect song ‘Politicians In My Eyes” Alphabet is always keeping tabs. After all the Hillary Clinton rambling of last night I needed to hear this song.

I reminds me its the same fight and decades without change.

For those of you not familiar with Death it is an amazing and sad story out of Detroit. I stumbled upon this in a documentary “A Band Called Death” on Netflix and instantly fell in love with their album “For The World To See“.

The short short version is these three Hackney brothers is they saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, David finds a giutar the next day he learned to play and his brothers picked up the bug and they made music.

I am skipping a lot of the details but if you watch the documentary the story makes you think about what music would have been with these guys here. I forget but I’m sure this band was around before the Ramones and I personally think they are better. One of the crazy parts of how this album was rediscovered. Their kids had no clue they played in this band.

But you should really check it out.

I have been listening to Coma Prevail non stop the past couple days. Sounds strange considering they only have a couple songs out but I like everything Jeremy Talley has put out. He done a great job coming back since the disbanding of The Bled.

Congrats J
